Those who remember the Abstract Latinism series released on Artform back in the late 1990’s will find the ‘La Marachi EP’ by Birmingham’s rising star Chris James filled with that South American sunshine to heat the cold winter nights. ‘Surco De Boogaloo’ and ‘La Marachi’ have been doing serious damage to dance floors recently and with Brazil’s XRS and Italy’s Wasabi on remix duties this EP is set to re-kindle that Latinism tech-house vibe to full effect.
